We may not have seen the last of Star Wars: 1313, according to Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy.
In an interview with Slashfilm, Kennedy was asked about the cancelled Star Wars: Underworld TV show (of which a hundred scripts were reportedly written), but segued into talking about 1313.
"Our attitude is, we don’t want to throw any of that stuff away. It’s gold," she said of the cancelled material.
"And it’s something we’re spending a lot of time looking at, pouring through, discussing, and we may very well develop those things further. We definitely want to."
1313 was set to be an Uncharted-style action game from LucasArts, ILM, Lucasfilm Animation and Skywalker Sound.
Players would have assumed the role of a bounty hunter, exploring the criminal underworld of the galactic capital Coruscant.
Announced at E3 2012, the game was then showed off again at Gamescom that year before Lucasfilm was purchased by Disney, effectively ending any and all in-progress Star Wars projects.
