The Game Awards are set to feature ten world premieres, and details are starting to emerge about what they could be.
At least two of the reveals have already been pre-announced, in the form of new gameplay footage from Quantum Break and Far Cry Primal.
Xbox's marketing lead Aaron Greenberg also tweeted that other, unspecified Xbox games will see reveals at the show.
Oculus CEO Palmer Luckey will be on hand to make a "special announcement," which many have speculated to be a release date and price for the Rift VR headset.
Other special guests include Mark Hamill (having recently appeared in Batman: Arkham Knight and the upcoming Star Citizen: Squadron 42), Kiefer Sutherland (Big Boss in Metal Gear Solid V), and Shaquille O'Neal (who we have to assume will be talking about the crowdfunded Shaq Fu sequel).
The show's Industry Icon Award is going to Command and Conquer developer Westwood Studios cofounders Brett Sperry and Louis Castle.
Last year's Industry Icon Award went to Sierra cofounders Ken and Roberta Williams, and came with the announcement of the new episodic King's Quest game.
The Game Awards will air on Twitch and YouTube Friday, December 4th at 3pm NZDT / 1pm AEST.
