A trademark registration from Bandai Namco suggests a new Katamari game is in the works.
The Tokyo-based company filed a trademark for "Tap My Katamari" with the Office for Harmonisation in the International Market.
It reserves the title for everything from "coin-operated amusement machines" to "hand-held electronic games," making it hard to tell for sure what platform the game will be available for.
The title, though, suggests a mobile game is in the offing.
Tap My Katamari takes its titling convention one step further than previous entry Touch My Katamari, released in 2012 for the Vita.
The Katamari series sees players controlling an ball of junk as it rolls around the world, picking up new objects and expanding to massive scales.
