A free-to-play edition of PES 2016 is coming to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on December 8.
Although Konami describes the version of the game as “entry level”, it will receive all the gameplay and content updates the full game does.
It will feature an Exhibition Mode that gives the player a choice of seven teams (including Bayern Munich, Juventus, AS Roma, Brazil and France), a full training section, and the franchise’s popular myClub mode, wherein players use accrued in-game currency and/or real-world money to build a title-winning team.
The free-to-play version will also allow both online and offline play.
"The free-to-play edition offers a perfect overview of the game’s stunning levels of control, and realistic interpretations of both teams and players via the Player ID and Team ID systems that ensure both play like their real-life counterparts," said Konami.
