A large Mass Effect: Andromeda infodump of unconfirmed veracity has emerged via the game's Reddit channel.

The subreddit's mods posted a YouTube video over the weekend, featuring several alleged details on the anticipated sequel:

Graphics, the video says, have seen "drastic improvement," with higher detail in character models and destructible environments driven by the Frostbite 3 engine.

Players will go into combat with two squad mates; among the options are a human blonde woman and a krogan.

Squad mates have jetpacks, which factor into exploration, and the Omnitool's functionality has expanded to include features like a shield.

The main character is referred to as "the Pathfinder," in accordance with their mission to find a new home for humanity in the Andromeda galaxy.

Their ship is different to the Normandy, and features numerous rooms, including a hangar housing the new, possibly-customisable Mako, and a war room where players can interact with their squad.

Piloting the ship is done in a first-person view, rather than via a galaxy map.

Finally, enemies include a human soldier with armour similar to the player, and a new race of bipedal aliens.

The moderators believe their a source to be the genuine article, but stress that the information is unconfirmed, and could be inaccurate and/or non-final.

EA and BioWare have thus far remained close-lipped around the sequel, which is due Q4 2016 on new-gen consoles and PC.
