A new, unique Australian indie game is set for a PS4 release next year.

Push Me Pull You is a local four-player "lovely and horrible" multiplayer game about wrestling and friendship.

The game sees two teams of two controlling double-headed Cronenbergian tube people (one head each) as they attempt to wrestle a ball away from the opposing team.

According to Melbourne-based studio House House, it "consists of a big frantic mess of growing, shrinking, and stretching bodies, driven by our fluid, physics-based movement system."

We played an alpha version at Fantastic Arcade 2014, and can confirm that it is hilarious, charming, and gross in equal measure - a great game for crowding around a TV to play.

The final release will include additional game modes and character customisation options.

Look for Push Me Pull You on PC and PS4 in early 2016.
