Sony will launch a new in-ear headset in PAL territories (including Australia and New Zealand) this December, the company has announced.

The in-ear stereo headset, branded the In-Ear Stereo Headset, features noise reduction technology and a built-in microphone.

Players control noise cancellation, volume, and mic mute via a dongle on the headset's cable.

The noise cancellation feature can operate for fifteen hours on a charge, and charges via USB, though the headset itself connects to the minijack on the DualShock 4 controller.

The features come at a price, though, with Sony having set a price of 90 euros (around NZ$150 / AU$135).

The headset launches in the UK and Ireland on December 4th, and across Europe, Aus/NZ, the Middle East, and Africa on December 9th.
