Epic Games soft-announced a new game today, entitled Paragon.

Details of the Unreal and Gears of War developer's game have not been revealed, but it will involve a series of heroes, which will be unveiled weekly until December 3rd.

The first hero, Twinblast, wields two pistols and cybernetic arms; future heroes are named Steel, Sparrow, Dekker, and Grux.

Prospective players can unlock in-game bonuses for eventual play via the Paragon website.

Given the hero focus and unlockables citing critical strikes, buffs, and shielded and bleeding targets, Paragon appears to be a multiplayer, class-based action title, possibly similar to Blizzard's Overwatch and Gearbox's Battleborn.

Paragon is set for release on PC in "early 2016," with beta signups available now.
