Smartphone and tablet manufacturer HTC has released the first part in its documentary mini-series about Smash Bros. onto YouTube.

From the blurb: “HTC Rivals is a mini series that follows the rivalry between pro Super Smash Bros. Melee players Cloud9 Mang0, Team Liquid Hungrybox, and TSM Leffen.”

Smash and HTC may seem an odd pairing, but HTC has sponsored Smash tournaments in the past, most recently the HTC Throwdown in San Francisco.
