The Stanley Parable co-designer William Pugh is teasing his next game, due "quite imminently," with an in-browser puzzle mystery.

On the website for Pugh's new studio Crows Crows Crows, clicking on a folder labeled "A.807" takes you to this page, the start of a largely text-based ARG.

The in-browser minigame requires some head-scratching deciphering to get through, and follows a detective's investigation into "a series of peculiar disappearances across Europe."

In the tradition of web-based ARGs and indeed of The Stanley Parable, it is very strange and difficult to describe.

PC Gamer got the first screenshots of the game being teased, however, and it appears more conventional than the ARG - and than fellow Stanley dev Davey Wredan's The Beginner's Guide, launched earlier this month.

Pugh is also one of the developers pegged by Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland to help him design virtual reality games.
