Bandai Namco is pulling the plug on its free-to-play brawler Rise of the Incarnates, continuing a trend of clearing its F2P titles.
The 2v2 arena fighting game will shut its doors on December 15, just five months after its July release date.
But the its slow death has already begun, with in-game purchases cancelled and all characters made free to play.
The closure follows last month's shutdown of similarly free-to-play Soulcalibur: Lost Swords - although that game lasted nearly two years.
Bandai Namco still operates the free-to-play Tekken Revolution and Ace Combat Infinity on PS3.
Rise of the Incarnates can be played on Steam until December 15, at which point its title will be merely a cruel joke.
