Indie survival game Sir, You Are Being Hunted has been updated with v1.0 multiplayer support.
The new multiplayer mode simply places multiple players in the foggy, procedurally-generated English countryside to survive against murderous, tweed-clad robots.
Taking a page from DayZ, players can work cooperatively via trading and combat, or turn on one another for resources and endgame wins.
Says lead designer James Carey, "It’s an interesting mix of coop and PvP: it might make sense to collaborate at the start of a game, but because only one person can escape at the end those alliances soon break down."
Sir boasts 300,000 players who can now play with or against each other.
Developer Big Robot also notes that Sir "is one of the few games to feature a networked playable trombone."
Sir, You Are Being Hunted is available on Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store.
