The creators of Burnout are teasing a spiritual successor to the beloved racing series.
Criterion Games co-founders Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry left the company in 2014 to form a new studio called Three Fields Entertainment.
In a series of tweets, Ward and Sperry revealed they are currently working on a multiplayer sports game, but that their next project would be a driving game.

Even more revealing is the hashtag #shinyredsomething, which refers to the code name for the original Burnout game, Shiny Red Car.
