Sony Entertainment president Shuhei Yoshida says that Sony would “absolutely” work with Bloodborne developer From Software again.
At EGX, Yoshida told Eurogamer, “Absolutely… We have great relationships, and because of the nature of them being publishers and developers, it's a unique relationship.”
“We wish to continue to work with them.”
Speaking about Bloodborne, Yoshida described what a risk the title was for Sony and From Software, as it came so early in the PlayStation 4’s lifespan.
“I can totally understand they're publishers, they have to manage their resources,” he said.
“But also they support [Bloodborne creative director] Miyazaki-san's creative vision.
“Sometimes he might want to do something risky for them – in that case, we might have a chance of working with us,” he added.
“That was the case for Bloodborne. It was early, from a Japanese publisher's standpoint, to bet big on a PS4-only title.”
Bloodborne’s The Old Hunters expansion is set to be released on November 25.
