The PlayStation 4 system software update 3.0 will go live tomorrow.

The newest update for the system includes many minor enhancements to UI as well as a handful of new features.

Major additions include the new Events app, which will allow you to see which of your games has events currently happening or upcoming, such as an multiplayer XP bonus weekend.

The Communities app will allow you to create and join communities based around shared interests such as specific games or genres.

The dedicated PlayStation Plus app on the home screen will allow you to access PS+ information such as account details and your free games without having to go through the PlayStation Store.

The update also includes enhanced integration with social media and video apps, including the ability to tweet game videos and live stream straight to YouTube.

This update finally releases the Share Play feature, first announced in 2013, allowing friends to remotely play their each others games.
