Role-playing game veteran Chris Avellone has joined the Divinity: Original Sin 2 development team.
Developer Larian Studios announced that Avellone would be joining the studio to work on the game, which is currently funding on Kickstarter.
Avellone has previously worked for RPG powerhouses Interplay and Obsidian. His credits include the Icewind Dale series, Fallout 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Knights of the Old Republic II, Neverwinter Nights II, and most recently, Pillars of Eternity.
A Kickstarter success, the first Divinity: Original Sin was released last year to critical acclaim. It garnered a Steam user rating of 9/10, and sold almost a million copies.
