At an EGX panel on VR headsets, Valve writer Chet Faliszeck has quashed any rumours that Half-Life 3 will be a VR title.

When asked during the Q&A section of the panel whether the game is in development for Valve’s VR device, he simply replied, “No.”

When asked the question again by the same audience member, Faliszeck again responded, “I said, ‘no’.”

Valve has consistently denied any rumours of a sequel to their much beloved first-person shooter franchise, most recently with Valve CEO Gabe Newell stating the the company would rather keep moving forward than go “retro”.
