Microsoft-owned, Copenhagen-based studio Press Play's next project will be survival "game show" Project Knoxville.
The third-person multiplayer action game won the public vote-off the Kalimba and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood developer ran last month to decide their next project.
It sees players taking part in a survival game show like in The Running Man and The Hunger Games, cooperating or competing as they desire.
Knoxville's announcement video - and the tagline "Human Nature Exposed" - suggest a game that trades on surprising, devious human interactions.
The other two games on the Press Play ballot were co-op dungeon crawler Dwarka and vehicle-crafting game Karoo.
Press Play is currently "working hard on getting Knoxville’s prototype into a sharable state," and will run bi-weekly Twitch streams to open up its design process.
