A remastered version of co-op beat 'em up sensation Castle Crashers is coming to Xbox One this week, seven years after the game debuted on Xbox 360.
Castle Crashers Remastered will feature textures five times the size of those in the original, run at 60 frames per second, and include a new multiplayer mini-game called Back Off Barbarian.
It will also feature online multiplayer performance updates, which will allow players to find games easier and quicker online.
It will release on September 10 for US$15, unless you own the original game and have a current Xbox Live Gold membership, in which case it will be free until September 21.
After that, those that own the original will pay US$5.
Castle Crashers Remastered will also come to Steam at some stage, with development of the Steam update beginning later this year.
Meanwhile, the original Xbox 360 version of Castle Crashers will be playable on Xbox One “at some point” thanks to Xbox One Backwards Compatibility.
