The next game from Broken Age developer Double Fine is a 2D side-scroller that puts you in control of the last human head in the universe.

Headlander is based on ‘70s sci-fi, and is a comedic Metroid-style title about adventure, combat and exploration.

Initially the player moves via a jetpack-thruster throat, and can take over the bodies of various robots to work their way around a mysterious space station, solving puzzles and battling enemies via cover-oriented combat.

Headlander is coming to consoles and PC next year, and will be published by Adult Swim Games.
