Super Meat Boy Forever is back in development and Mew-Genics will follow that, says Team Meat's Edmund McMillen.

With McMillen's side project Fingered available on Steam and The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth coming in the next month or two, the team now has time to focus on the previously-announced games.

Super Meat Boy Forever blends Super Meat Boy's fast, sticky, uncompromising platform jumping with procedural endless runner mechanics.

The long-gestating "crazy cat-lady sim" Mew-Genics, in which players breed hordes of cats, will resume development after Forever is complete.

Given Team Meat's history with side projects, the release dates for both games are being left open, with only targets of "when it's done."

In the meantime, McMillen's "hyperrealistic police sim" Fingered is now available on Steam.
