A new studio made up of former Witcher developers has announced its first project, entitled Seven.
Somehow both "Thief-inspired" and an open-world, isometric RPG, Seven is set hundreds of years in the future, with humanity recovering from an apocalypse.
According to studio Fool's Theory, "the shape and condition of this new world is far from what it used to be. In this new reality Dark Ages are constantly interwinding with ancient advanced technology."
Players control a "lone traveller" in a nonlinear world, via isometric gameplay augmented with free-moving parkour.
As could be expected from a team led by a Witcher 3 quest designer, the story will feature moral choices and branching narratives.
The game is being funded by IMGN and developed in Unreal Engine 4.
Only concept art has been revealed, so it's a safe bet that Seven is a ways off.
