The latest game from The Binding of Isaac and Super Meat Boy co-creator Edmund McMillen is “hyperrealisic police sim” Fingered.
McMillen describes the game as a ‘whodunit’ where you must decide whether randomly generated suspects are guilty or innocent by combing through the testimony of “local busy bodies”.
It’s not going to be a simple task, though, as the protagonist appears to be some percentage insane, and as McMillen puts it, “one man's fat is another man's sexy!”
The game’s features:
◆ 21 levels of confusion
◆ a few billion randomly generated people to finger/murder
◆ barking
◆ loads of secret celebs to murder!
◆ find yourself in the criminal data base!
◆ buttons
◆ sounds
◆ menus
Fingered launches for PC via Steam on August 19 for US$1.87.
