Childhood-baiting action title Toy Soldiers: War Chest will see a digital-only release on August 11 on Xbox One and PC and August 12 on PlayStation 4, Ubisoft has announced.

The third installment of Signal Studios’ popular franchise offers a hybrid blend of action strategy gameplay mixed with tower defence mechanics.

The standard edition will include four armies: Kaiser Wilhelm and his First World War Germans; the Black Dragon Army of the evil Dark Lord; Phantom and her Ghost Company; and Starbright and the Buddy Bears, Ponies, and Pixies from the Star Power army.

The game’s Hall of Fame edition includes an additional four licensed armies: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, the Assassin’s brotherhood, the Cobra Commander army, and G.I. Joe. Each will also be available as individual downloads, or all together in the Legendary Heroes Pack.
