The highly ambitious Project Brazil, a total conversion mod for Fallout: New Vegas, is set for completion by the end of 2015.

Spiritually based on Terry Gilliam's film Brazil, the mod's two parts take place in California, years before the events of New Vegas, and depict the lead-up to the NCR's invasion of the Mojave.

Players take the role of an "adopted resident of Vault 18 embarking on a quest to a hidden complex in the ruins of Los Angeles", coming across "a pitched battle between the Survivalist Army, the New California Republic, and the Super Mutants."

Branching off from the main game straight from the menu, the campaign features sixteen fully-voiced main quests, a new explorable world (the Black Bear Mountain National Forest), two new radio stations, and seven potential companion characters.

The team aims to have Project Brazil complete by the end of the year, with a beta in October to cash in on Fallout 4 mania.

Fallout 4 launches November 11 on new-gen consoles and PC.
