Open-world dinosaur game Ark: Survival Evolved has sold over one million copies, and developer Studio Wildcard has launched new modding tools to celebrate.
A Steam Early Access success story, Ark: Survival Evolved sold 400,000 copies in its first week of alpha release last month, handily paying for its development to date.
The game's Unreal Engine 4 mod tools were developed in partnership with Epic Games.
"We can't wait to see the limitless creativity of our fans come to life in fantastic new ways," said co-creative director Jesse Rapczak.
Epic's Tim Sweeney added, "Many of us here began in the mod community, so we're grateful to see Studio Wildcard open up their creative work to a new generation of programmers, artists, and designers."
Ark: Survival Evolved is available now via Steam Early Access.
