Nordic Games and Piranha Bytes have teamed up to produce a new RPG entitled Elex.

The Gothic creators' game is a post-apocalyptic science-fantasy ARPG built on moral choices and action in an open world.

Piranha Bytes game director Björn Pankratz, full of enthusiasm, says his studio "can't wait to show you a completely new game experience with a fresh setting, new assets and plenty of possibilities."

Though no concrete details have been announced, the publisher and studio assigned numerous adjectives to Elex, including but not limited to "eclectic, lavish, exhilarating, xenial;" "edgy, dark, uncompromising, complex;" "ambitious;" "huge, seamless;" "handcrafted;" and "powerful."

More information, a demonstration, and likely more adjectives will be presented at Gamescom 2015 in August.
