Microsoft has announced some details of its Xbox Briefing at Gamescom 2015, via its Major Nelson blog.

The Cologne, Germany-based trade show will play host to new demos of games like Quantum Break, Scalebound, and the rebooted Crackdown.

After a fairly predictable E3 presentation, Microsoft has Gamescom all to themselves, thanks to Sony giving the show a miss.

Xbox 360 and Xbox One customers will be able to stream Microsoft's briefing live on August 4 via the Xbox Live Entertainment app.
