Xbox 360 players have spoken as to their most-wanted games for Xbox One backwards compatibility.
Microsoft asked players to vote for their most-wanted games, and the results are predictably a list of the most popular titles from the previous generation of consoles.
As of time of publication, the top twenty games requested were:
◆ Red Dead Redemption
◆ Call of Duty: Black Ops II
◆ Skyrim
◆ Halo: Reach
◆ Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
◆ Gears of War 3
◆ Call of Duty: Black Ops
◆ Fallout 3
◆ Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
◆ Mass Effect 3
◆ BioShock Infinite
◆ Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
◆ Fallout: New Vegas
◆ Mass Effect 2
◆ Gears of War 2
◆ Call of Duty: World at War
◆ Left 4 Dead 2
◆ GTA IV
◆ Batman: Arkham City
◆ Halo Wars
For those keeping score at home, that's six Calls of Duty, two Halos, two Gearses of War, three Bethesda RPGs, and two Mass Effects.
The announcement of Xbox One backwards compatibility was Microsoft's biggest splash at E3 2015 last week, but it takes permission from the publisher for games to function on the new-gen console.
The only titles officially revealed to be backwards-compatible thus far are:
◆ Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
◆ Banjo-Kazooie
◆ Banjo-Tooie
◆ BattleBlock Theater
◆ Defense Grid
◆ Geometry Wars Evolved
◆ Hexic HD
◆ Jetpac Refueled
◆ Kameo
◆ Mass Effect
◆ Perfect Dark
◆ Perfect Dark Zero
◆ Small Arms
◆ Super Meat Boy
◆ Toy Soldiers
◆ Toy Soldiers: Cold War
◆ Viva Piñata
◆ Viva Piñata: TIP
