Nintendo announced several new titles at its digital event at E3 2015 today.
Leading the pack was Star Fox Zero, whose existence had previously been announced without any details or even a full title.
The first non-remake Star Fox title in nine years, Zero features several new vehicles and uses the Wii U controller's screen as a cockpit view, alongside the traditional chase camera view on their TV. It launches for the Wii U in Q4 2015.
For the 3DS, the company announced The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, a three-player, top-down co-operative dungeon-crawler set in Hyrule.
Players in Tri Force Heroes share health as a group and must work together in a variety of ways to solve puzzles and fight bosses. Like Star Fox Zero, it is set to launch in Q4 2015.
Continuing the games slate's cooperative bent, Metroid Prime: Federation Force is a local and online four-player co-op shooter set in the Metroid Prime universe.
Stepping into Metroid's trademark mech suits, players work together to fight enemies and complete objectives in a range of sci-fi settings. Federation Force is set to launch sometime in 2016.
In addition to its new titles, Nintendo also demoed its flagship game-creator Super Mario Maker and fuzzy platformer Yoshi's Woolly World, both of which launch in 2015.
