Guerilla Games announced its new IP, Horizon: Zero Dawn, at Sony's E3 press conference today.
The Killzone developer's action-adventure takes place in a post-apocalyptic future in which mankind has reverted to a cave-dwelling, tribal state, locked in a struggle against the robotic animals that roam the land.
Players take control of young huntress Aloy on "a compelling, emotional journey and unravel mysteries of tribal societies, ancient artifacts and advanced technologies that will determine the fate of this planet, and of life itself," according to Guerilla Games.
The game is expected to land sometime in 2016.
