Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition has been officially unveiled.

Nordic Games today announced that the game will come to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles in summer.

The Deathinitive Edition is a visually updated 1080p version of Darksiders 2 that bundles in all its DLC including The Abyssal Forge and The Demon Lord Belial story expansions.

Adjustments to the game balancing and loot distribution have been made too.

Deathinitive Edition is beiong developed at Gunfire Games, a new studio almost entirely composed of former staffers of now-defunct Darksiders creator Vigil Games.

“Naturally there will be a large-scale project based on Darksiders, but for now it is very important for us to take care of the existing games and make those available to a broader audience,” said publisher Nordic Games’ Reinhard Pollice.

The box art for the game was outed on Amazon last month.
