War Thunder developer Gaijin Entertainment has announced its newest game: a free-to-play post-apocalyptic vehicle combat MMO called Crossout.

Gaijin will create Crossout in tandem with Russian developer Targem Games, which already has a number of vehicle-centric games under its belt in Hard Truck Apocalypse, ExMachina: Arcade, GearGrinder, Clutch, and Armageddon Riders.

According to the two studios, Crossout will feature:

Vehicle crafting that allows for everything from nimble buggies to heavily tracked off-road vehicles to combat platforms on antigrav fields
Advanced damage modelling that affects vehicle performance
Weapons including chain saws, power-drills, machine-guns, rocket launchers, flying drones, and stealth generators
A workshop that allows players to create new parts and auction them at an in-game marketplace

You can sign up for Early Access on the game’s official site.
