Classic 1997 FPS Turok: Dinosaur Hunter is getting a PC re-release.
Speaking with Tech Raptor, developer Samuel "Kaiser" Villarreal said that after a production delay, Night Dive Studios picked up the rights to re-release the game.
"I was originally working on remaking N64 Turok (called Turok EX), but it got put off to the side,” he said.
“Since now Night Dive Studios has picked up the rights to re-release it, Turok EX will resume development later this year.”
Villarreal is currently working on a remake of 1996 FPS PowerSlave.
Night Dive specialises in digital re-releases of classic PC games, and has previously handled re-releases of System Shock 2, I Have no Mouth and I Must Scream, and Strife (which Villarreal worked on).
