A handful of eBay users seem to think there are people out there prepared to pay more than NZD$2000 for a PlayStation 4 loaded with the Silent Hills P.T. demo.

Konami pulled the plug on Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro’s Silent Hills project earlier this week.

The game was announced with a playable PlayStation 4 teaser, P.T., in August last year. That playable trailer has been removed from the PlayStation Store today.

The consoles loaded with the demos can be found on the UK eBay storefront.

Despite P.T.;s cancellation, Konami insisted that the franchise will live on.

“Konami is committed to new Silent Hill titles, however the embryonic ‘Silent Hills’ project developed with Guillermo del Toro and featuring the likeness of Norman Reedus will not be continued,” it said in a statement.

“In terms of Kojima and Del Toro being involved, discussions on future Silent Hill projects are currently underway, and please stay tuned for further announcements.”
