The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones developer TellTale games has announced a new partnership with Marvel.
The partnership was announced yesterday in San Francisco. "We're excited to reveal an all-new partnership with the incredible team at Marvel Entertainment," said Telltale. "We'll be teaming up on the development of an upcoming Telltale game series project set to premiere in 2017!"
The deal with Marvel is the latest in a string of new partnerships for the studio.
In December, TellTale announced a partnership with Mojang to create Minecraft: Story Mode.
In February, TellTale also teamed up with Lionsgate to co-develop ‘Super Shows’ – titles that are part TV, part game.
Variety reported that Lionsgate invested US$40m in TellTale to make the project a reality.
