A final piece of DLC is coming to Space Hulk: Ascension this month.
Bringer of Sorrow will add more than 25 hours of new content to the game, including 20 story missions and 20 flash missions that feature the Deathwing company of the Dark Angels Space Marine Chapter.
It will also feature a new weapon – an area-effect Plasma Cannon that's capable of "causing insane amounts of damage to swathes of enemies" – along with the new Apothecary class that buffs nearby Terminators.
In the DLC, the Deathwings will attempt to push back a Tyranid invasion on the planet Corinthe.
“Dark Angels have been at the top of the community’s most wanted list since we launched Ascension, so we wanted to do something really special for their Space Hulk debut,” said Full Control CEO Thomas Hentschel Lund.
Space Hulk: Ascension is a well-received standalone overhaul of Full Control's not-well-received Space Hulk that also added new content to the game.
It is the last game that Full Control will release as the company’s coffers are bare. However the studio isn’t completely closing, and will continue to still support its games.
