User accounts on the streaming service Twitch have been compromised.

"There may have been unauthorised access to some Twitch user account information," said Twitch.

Twitch does not store or process full credit or debit card information, so users financial details have not been lost. Data that was potential compromised may include Twitch usernames and associated email addresses, passwords, the last IP address users logged in from, limited credit card information including card type, truncated card number and expiration date, and any of the following it was provided: first and last name, phone number, address, and date of birth.

All passwords have been reset and stream keys have disconnected accounts from Twitter and YouTube, said Twitch. Users will be prompted to create a new password the next time they attempt to log into Twitch.
