A turn-based strategy title that was part-funded by two successful Kickstarter campaigns and a stint in Early Access has finally seen a full release.
Master of Magic spiritual sucessor Worlds of Magic launches today on PC, Mac and Linux, with a PlayStation 4 release to follow later this year.
According to developer Wastelands Interactive, the 4X game “delivers the well-known and loved vibe of the original and combines its classic elements”.
It runs on the just-released Unity 5 engine, and features:

◆ Almost 30 world resources to exploit
◆ D20 battle combat mechanics
◆ Units that gain experience
◆ Over 80 military units

◆ 40 heroes and champions
◆ Over 400 spells divided into 13 spell circles
World of Magic is available for US$40 on Steam.
