BlizzCon will talk place at the Anaheim Convention Center from Friday November 6 until late Saturday November 7 (PDT) this year, Blizzard has announced.
It will be the ninth BlizzCon, and will feature hands-on play time with the latest versions of Blizzard games, Global Finals for Blizzard eSports, discussion panels with Blizzard game developers and artists, contests, commemorative merch, and more.
Tickets go on sale in two batches at 2pm on April 16 and 5pm April 19, and will be priced at US$200 plus applicable taxes and fees via Eventbrite.
If you can’t make it to California, Blizzard is once again offering BlizzCon Virtual Tickets, which grant comprehensive live coverage of the event via a multichannel online stream.
Further details including pricing, availability, and programming information will be announced at a later date.
“There’s no better way to connect with the ever-expanding Blizzard community than by bringing everyone together at BlizzCon,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “With more games in development than ever before, we’ll have plenty of exciting updates to share and lots of great eSports competition to look forward to – we can’t wait to see everyone there.”
There will also be an exclusive pre-BlizzCon dinner to benefit Children’s Hospital of Orange County on the evening of Thursday November 5, giving attendees the chance to eat, drink, and be merry alongside Blizzard developers.
There’s more information on all things BlizzCon over on the official site.
