Microsoft will host 16 sessions at the Game Developers Conference on content and subjects related to Xbox One and Windows 10 gaming.

The panels will span a range of topics from a closer look at DirectX 12 to a deep dive on multiplayer development for Xbox Live, said the company.

Of special interest will be a panel hosted by Xbox head Phil Spencer on "The Future of Gaming Across the Microsoft Ecosystems".

Spencer's presentation will happen at 8am, March 5, NZDT. It will be uploaded later that day to Xbox Live, YouTube, and on Xbox Wire.

Microsoft also promised to showcase "the latest and greatest games and announcements", plus " new, innovative [email protected] games in and around the conference".

GDC 2015 takes place March 2-6 in San Francisco.
