Call of Duty developer Treyarch is teasing an announcement it will make on Wednesday, and it has something to do with zombies.

The announcement will take place at the DICE (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Summit in Las Vegas.

Treyarch was the first of the three Call of Duty development studios to include zombie modes in its games. The studio is understood to be working on the 2015 entry into the long-running annual franchise.

It would be uncharacteristic to unveil a new entry in the Call of Duty series so early in the year. For years, publisher Activision has announced every new Call of Duty in the first week of May.
