2K has announced that Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be bundled together and released on new-gen consoles as Borderlands: The Handsome Collection.

The two games recount the rise and fall of Handsome Jack. The bundle will include all DLC for both games.

In a first for the series, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection will also include four-player split-screen cooperative play.

Within console families, players can also port over their old saves.

Finally, there's the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Claptrap-in-a-Box Edition, which includes a remote-controlled Claptrap, the game, a steel case and 12 lithographs. The robot is controlled through an iOS and Android app.
