Resident Evil: Revelations was originally released on the 3DS in 2012, before it got the HD treatment on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and Windows PC last year.

“The Resident Evil franchise largely abandoned its survival horror roots long ago, but Revelations shows that is precisely where its strengths lie,” wrote Gameplanet’s Toby Hills in his review of the HD version.

Earlier this month, Capcom announced that it is remaking the original Resident Evil in 1080p for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and at lower but significantly improved resolutions for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
