The Kickstarter backers of the Ouya that didn’t receive their console before it was available at retail have been given credit to spend on games for the system.
Ouya has added US$13.37 to the Ouya Discovery Store accounts of those affected by shipping delays which saw the console arrive up to two weeks later than expected.
At the time of the delay, Ouya founder Julie Uhrman put the number of backers affected at 7500.
Last weekend Uhrman again apologised to those affected via an email.
“It wasn't OK that some of you – our most loyal supporters – didn't get your Ouya until after it was on store shelves," she wrote.
Ouya recently announced an initiative that will see it double the money raised by Ouya-exclusive games on Kickstarter.
However, most Ouya owners are yet to buy a game for the console.
