Three more senior Zynga executives have departed the troubled social and mobile game development company.
John Osvald and Nathan Etter, vice presidents of the Facebook games division, and Jesse Janosov was vice president of casino gambling have all left Zynga subsequent to another bleak earnings report released on Monday.
Janosov’s departure comes as no surprise, as new Zynga boss Don Mattrick announced that the company was to end its focus on real-money online gambling.
Bloomberg reports that Etter has taken up a new role with Disney Interactive.
In the three months up to June 30 the company lost US$15.8 million dollars, and over that time its number of monthly unique users dropped 22 per cent on the previous quarter’s number, to 136 million.
Its daily active users are down 45 per cent year-over-year, and its number of monthly unique payers is half last year’s figure at 1.9 million.
Zynga is projecting a net loss ranging from US$14 million to US$43 million over the next quarter.
