Google has launched a new social gaming app for Android, Google Play Games.

The app collects all a player’s games, achievements, and social connections together, and also features public leaderboards and friend suggestions.

Only Google Play compatible games feature in the app.

Google's main rival, Apple, has had its Game Center app up and running since late 2010.
