An NBA Live is coming within the next 12 months, says EA Labels president Frank Gibeau.
However, there won’t be a Tiger Woods, UFC, or Star Wars game released in that window, he told investors.
EA scrapped NBA Live 13 last September after it became clear the game would not be up to standard.
It was to be a triumphant return for the franchise, which released a game every year from 1994 until 2009.
Gibeau added that the new NBA Live title would be available on next-gen consoles, and that EA Sports would unveil a brand new engine at E3 in June.
In total, EA has 11 major games confirmed as coming in the next fiscal year, along with 15 mobile games.
The former include include Madden, FIFA, FIFA Manager, NHL, NCAA Football, Need for Speed, Battlefield, and Command and Conquer titles, along with Fuse and The Sims 4.
