The developers of Trine 2 Director’s Cut are hoping the game will come to Wii U in Australia and New Zealand this month, after it was delayed twice over the Christmas period.
A short video on FrozenByte’s official blog detailed the reasons for the delay, which included “issues with submissions”.
The game has been submitted to Nintendo for a fourth time and FrozenByte hope to see it out in the fourth week of this month, said marketing manager Mikael Haveri.
“No promises but we’re doing everything we can,” he said.
The Trine 2 Director’s Cut edition features better graphics than the vanilla release, and also adds voice chat and Pro Controller support to the game.
It released in the States on November 18 and in Europe on the 30th of that same month.
