Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 will be out on March 7 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Namco Bandai has announced.

Based on the Naruto anime series, Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 features over 80 playable characters.

Story mode sees players delve into the Fourth Great Ninja War and fight their way through new one-versus-many stages.

In addition, boss battles – conspicuously absent in Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations – will return to the franchise.

The narrative will be accessible even to those not familiar with its source material, developer CyberConnect2 said.
